I caught the Spring fever last year when I bought this plant from a street vender. He was Mexican and spoke in broken English when he told me “veree baluable pant”. He went on to say that it has some medicinal purposes? I’m just happy to see it made it through the Winter here. These things must really like the Dallas weather is all I can say. He said it would some day grow tiny buds, maybe even flower? That’s when I’m supposed to know something, like if I can sell it? Looks like I’ll have to wait on that, but I wasn’t planning to re-sale it anyway… still not quite certain what he was alluding to, either way it’s been a nice addition to the garden! 🙂

They’re poisonous. As someone like me, landscapes were dangerous to work with. I’ll be over to remove it free of charge.
