I decided to share/publish pieces of ideas I originally meant to expound on to create real articles on my brantology blog but it just never happened. These ideas have accumulated over a period of a couple years [or more] where things beyond my control took a [normally] promising idea and reduced it to just an isolated thought, an island alone in the sea that never grew wings to soar. Rather than throw these away I thought why not gather them up on occasion and publish them? Afterall they were good ideas with good intent even though they never grew to full maturity. Have you ever studied a famous artist, painter or sculptor? They all had a ton of study drawings that never became paintings or statues or much more than just rough ideas, thought processes in themselves, dropped forever and left alone. Well here ya go. I hope you enjoy these rough sketch ideas, some more personal or others. Thanks in advance for reading them!
1> I would best describe my Life as
“God Cleaning Up After Me” as I can [and sometimes have] made a mess of things. 🙂
2> I used to to tell my now ex-wife, “let him be a boy”, in a calming voice, when she would come up to me and say, “you know what he did?” My canned answer many times was “let him be a boy” and it worked! She didn’t grow up with boys, she was the youngest of five girls so there’s that. So we let him be a boy and that turned out to be pretty darn good, as I’m proud of the young man my Son has turned into.
3> Money Has Zero to do with Intelligence!
[I have said this so many times, I may have said it before on my site as well, but here goes another spin]. There are too many examples of this to mention. I promise you that by turning on the television you’ll find innumerable examples of people that fall into this category daily. They are as common as rice kernels!… Where real intelligence begins is in keeping it, because no doubt some of these idiots that have made it big have been brain hurt in the process? Big money can make some people stupid, and do stupid things for stupid reasons all because they found themselves now with more money than sense… just not falling victim to a scammer’s scam and staying out of the slammer takes a ton of intelligence right there…
4> Makes Nothing But Total Cents!
Halt making pennies immediately, wait what did I just say? What does this eventually prove? It proves a couple things, growth of our money supply in the United States is inflationary, especially over very long periods of time. That’s one thing it proves. I’m not upset by admitting this, it doesn’t bother me because inflation comes with the territory in a growing economy. It’s the rate [of change] at which inflation rises that’s what makes people who still have a brain intact, [in other words, anyone who doesn’t vote in Devilcrats], as that’s what makes our paychecks shrink.
Addendum: In his latest term word has it that Trump halted the U.S. Treasury’s production of new pennies because a study indicated that it costs the Taxpayer around 2-2-1/2 cents to produce one penny. So one can see with half a brain it’s a losing proposition to produce new pennies. What comes from this? Where this all goes I do know at this writing but stay tuned to the news as the conclusion can’t be short of fascinating? Can we eliminate the use of pennies altogether? Or come up with a new denomination that makes commerce work without adding to inflation? Again, let’s wait and see!
5> God Rights All Wrong(s)
In the spirit of making certain this idea penetrates into your brain , for those of you who didn’t really comprehend those words I want to repeat it for you – God will right all wrongs. God will right all wrongs of men and women, you and I, and on and on. Just do not think, [never believe], his perfect solution will be equivalent to, [or look necessarily like], yours or my preferred outcome(s). Get it? That’s the tricky part. God is sovereign over all and all things so he has reasons for answers that we are most likely not privy to and I can appreciate that. Maybe it goes along with that saying, “let go and let God”? Because he possesses a strength and knowledge level not available to mortals like us. This is my best explanation of what I have heard and read from scholarly type theologians.
6> There’s always an answer
It’s just that it may not be one you wanted to hear that’s all. Think back to the days when your parents answered a question with “Because I said so!” – there’s your answer right there. Albeit not one we would have wanted to hear but it’s still an answer, darn-it! “I don’t know” or “maybe” was even better to hear from a parent back then than “Because I said so!” The best part about learning this que is that you got to torture your child with this also! 🙂
7> Never Ring the Bell for Yourself!
On giving. Always give without fanfare. This is actually similar to what is contained in the New Testament. It may have been part of Jesus’ “Sermon on the Mount” where he talked about how to conduct one’s behavior throughout life. When you give to those less fortunate, does not have to be money can be volunteering of your time or skill, etc., do not announce it to the public. Do not toot your own horn. The lesson here is that all you will receive now by pointing out your generosity has been already delivered on earth. There are no spiritual gifts awaiting you in Heaven [for your generosity] anymore, they are now no longer available.
I really like this one, it’s a good lesson for all of us. Be humble, show humility especially when you’re practicing generosity!
8> God in his perfect wisdom took purchasing salvation completely out of the equation.
[Whenever I read this it reminds me of people in the news that became very wealthy but they’re basically walking around as evil self-centered creatures. How far does their money go in the afterlife? LMAO when I see them and think about this fact. No one knows when the final bell rings for each one of us so do good deeds with your time on Earth, follow the one and only God and believe in his Son Jesus Christ who died on the cross so that we could live in eternity and eternity will be yours.]
9> “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death”, Patrick Henry.
He was right on because it’s now 250 years later and his saying still makes a ton of sense! What if you were born in one of these Communist countries? What would life be like for you right now? Totally different than this life that’s for sure! There are many countries around the globe still controlled by communist regimes today. The quality of life in these places is awful, living standards are comparatively way lower than the U.S. and their regimes are generally brutal. All designed to keep the people from leaving… so sad.
10> What Cutting the Mustard Looks Like
I guess I must have had an idea [back then] of what that looked like when I wrote this down but honestly today, I cannot remember where I was going with this idea… I guess I don’t know what cutting the mustard looks like after all? But I know this, I love Mustard as a condiment but it can be kind of messy applied anywhere but inside the mouth.
11> Republicans Are The Only Adults In The Room
Wow! Is this true or what? This idea has played out over and over the past decade really. I do not think I need to expound on this phrase one bit, I’m just going to leave you with this one here in its current form. 🙂
I found a couple more of these starts & stops but I have to go through them more thoroughly to see if they got published [in some form on brantology.com] before I add them to any “unfinished idea” list.
Have a great weekend!
