It’s your money, but these days can you keep it? No, you can’t! I received an annual amount from my old firm via a contract I made as part of my retirement arrangement. There’s still another piece, an incentive compensation, that I will also receive before the end of this year. So they mailed a tax statement to me, showing all amounts I’ve paid in federal taxes thus far in tax year 2021, which does not even reflect any capital gains taxes I may have to pay this year, and I will, so that tax category is still yet to be included.

Turns out, the amount I will have paid by year-end just in federal taxes for tax year 2021 exceeds the median gross income of American households, according to the Official Census Bureau website. According to this government agency, the median gross income of an American household for 2019-2020 is around $68,000. In addition to that, all we’ve heard for 10 months now out of the Congressional Democrat’s camp is that they must raise income taxes because Americans are not paying enough, enough for who I ask – Democrats? This is akin to Highway Robbery!

Let me tell you what’s totally egregious! Why should I have to spend at least 1-1/2 days of my 5-day work week (when I was working) just to pay federal income taxes? Makes no sense at all for those of us that are in the top 8-10% of income earners in the U.S. Something is totally wrong. But wait it gets worse, for households in the top 3-5% of income earners in the United States these folks are having to work at least half the week, or more. Yes, this group is working 2-1/2 to 3 days of their 5-day work week, just to pay federal income and capital gain taxes. This is absolutely criminal – CRIMINAL I TELL YOU!

Vote out All Democrats Wherever You Find Them (holding office). Even if they’re holding top positions in private corporations and the way you accomplish a vote against woke Liberals who hold high positions in private corporations is very simple, you stop buying whatever it is they’re selling – just boycott the businesses they are running… I’ve now exceeded the amount of steam I can give off in one setting but this one is just absolutely pitiful!
