Look, I Earned My First Golf Trophy!

Introducing to you the newest recipient of the “Golden Flush Award”. I did it all by myself, yes, I was the worst golfer that day which earned me a much un-coveted Golden Flush Award. I lost to an Uncle who lives on a golf course down in the Woodlands. It’s okay that I’m the first one of us to earn it, I can take defeat. I’m no stranger to losing. However, I’ll be certain to have it on hand when we play again next year. 🙂

~ A Golden Flush Award ~
to the golfer whose game was not quite up to par

Fun stuff, but there are some rules associated with being a recipient of a Golden Flush trophy –
1st Rule – Whoever wins a “Golden Flush Award” has to keep the award for around a year or so, until the next time an agreed upon match is played.
2nd Rule – The receiver of this trophy must display it prominently in their own home which excludes a closet or other hiding place. The trophy needs to be visible by visitors inside your home, so a kitchen counter, family room, or even on a fireplace mantel are great places to proudly display a Golden Flush Award.
3rd Rule – Any tied golf scores on designated trophy days going forward will not be enough to change the address of a Golden Flush trophy. Last year’s recipient will need to wait until the following year for a chance again to pass off the trophy [unless both agree to continue the match until a winner is named].

You know what the best part is in having to keep this unsightly trophy? It’s rather small and inconspicuous… some may not even notice it after-all? 🙂

I’m glad you are flush with excitement over your new award. Might as well plumb it in place as it will be a permanent resident in your abode. I am officially nicknaming it Brant’s Abode Commode.
